We partner with organizations to provide timely professional learning, coaching, and curriculum infusion that supports those working with students. Our focus is on providing important background, strategies and supports that enhance rigor, student engagement, and strong Executive Functioning.
We offer impactful Professional Learning to support work with students. Topics include: Student Engagement, Executive Functioning, Mind Set, and Student and Adult Mental Health strategies.
We also run workshops on how to create ACT/SAT and AP-level items to take students deeper in their content learning.
Teachers are hard to find and harder to keep in the profession. Teacher retention occurs when staff feel supported and find success during their first few years of teaching. With our instructional coaching supports, we partner with school administrators to support teachers in their instruction, lesson design, student engagement, and interpretation of student learning outcomes.
As colleges are returning to requiring high-stakes testing, we work with districts to organically layer ACT/SAT-level content into existing curriculum and instruction in order to enhance student learning outcomes. We also work with school districts to help AP-teachers infuse their instruction and assessments with AP-level content.

Based out of Kansas City, Connected-Learning is able to work both remotely and in-person within the 4-states of Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and Kansas.
Like with anything, in-person is always best. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, Connected-Learning prefers to be with teaching staff and administrators on their home turf. If we are workshopping with an organization, follow-up work would likely happen remotely.
Of course! Although instructional strategies vary from content to content, engaged classrooms and active learners is consistent. We work with administrators and teachers to tailor a plan that is best for them and their unique personalities.
We believe relationships are at the center of a successful coaching model. Connected-Learning will come to your school or district, meet with administrators and teachers to begin the partnership - to discuss expectations, goals and answer any questions. At that time, we will also set up a schedule for us to meet remotely with the teacher(s) and schedule face-to-face visits throughout the year.
Yes! We are able to combine years of experience in district curriculum work with recent experience preparing students for both the ACT and the revised, digital SAT/PSAT.
Both! It is our preference to meet face-to-face to discuss and plan the goals and scope of the work. After that, much of the work can be done remotely. Whether it be Connected-Learning doing most of the foundational work up front or meeting regularly with district partners, the work can be done remotely with timely in-person meetings.
We sure can! We make it a priority to have a solid knowledge of all curricular standards, grade-level differences and learning differences we work with.
